This was the first interview I ever recorded, way back on St Patrick’s day, and it was the easiest to edit. I’d like to think this is because I’ve become much better at the editing process and instinctively know what to keep, but I think it’s largely down to the fact that the questions weren’t as good back then.
Episode number 5 is alive! In it, Siubhan Harrison gives a great interview, full of sighs, laughs and sharp intakes of breath that punctuate some very candid revelations: from working as a Tequila Girl to indulging in day-long teenage strops when things don’t go her way, the honesty is strong in this one.
Episode 4! This latest instalment again feels very different to what has gone before. By his own admissions, Matthew Flynn doesn’t normally wear his heart on his sleeve, but in this interview, he talks candidly about the financial and emotional pressures of being a parent who relies on acting to feed and clothe his kids, and of his nightmarish experience of stage-fright.
Episode 3 is here, and I don’t mind telling you it was aa tough decision picking which interview to release next. Why Sinead? Well, aside from the fact that I love her infectious laugh, I think it’s a very different episode to the first two.
